Unless someone is ready, willing, and able to plan strategically in a relevant, sustainable way, how can he, hope, and become a high-quality, meaningful, and effective leader? Should an organization's strategic plan not focus on the real needs of constituents and the group itself? Why should anyone consider more participation and commitment unless/until he recognizes his purpose and addresses their needs, goals and priorities?
