Piling - foundation

It is a well-known fact that any building, house or concrete structure must be built. It must have a very strong foundation and a foundation structure that supports the building. This is why piling is so important.

What is piling? from

Piling is a technique widely used by contractors and lays a solid foundation for structures such as buildings. By driving and embedding piles of wood, concrete or steel in deep underground soil, piling contractors can provide strong support for the foundation-level building structure – a prerequisite for any construction project.

Before starting the piling process, consideration should be given to factors such as the size, capacity and extent of the project, the immediate impact of the soil on the ground and the space required for the rigging. In contrast to shallow foundations, deep foundations are used to transfer structural loads to deer, strong soil layers, which have high load carrying capacity and can withstand loads, thus supporting the structure well.

Common piling materials include wood, concrete or steel - precast concrete piles, timber columns, steel sheet piles and stakes.

A pile of selected materials can be drilled or driven into the ground to provide a solid foundation for structural loads. Geotechnical engineers, structural engineers, field assemblers and foremen, regional contractors, and all other team members of the construction team play their part in designing, planning, understanding, and simplifying all tasks for excavation, piling, and building strong structures. .

All major contractors, housing developers and consulting engineers hire and use different forms and variations of piling techniques in the construction and construction of large commercial projects, housing development projects, retail and road construction projects, marine projects and more.

Different types of pilings can be distinguished depending on the choice of materials used or the specific method/technique employed.

Drive pile from

: This technology utilizes a pile driver for driving prefabricated piles into the ground. Most drive piles are made of wood, concrete or steel, and drive technology causes soil displacement.

Drill pile from

Bored piles, also known as bored piles [CIDH piles], are drilled into hard soil using dense drilling techniques.

These include:

· Auger casting pile is also called continuous auger [CFA]

·Expanded pile

Dock and grade beam foundation

Tripod piling

·Mini piling

Some of the most commonly used piling devices include -

- from

Pile driver
from

: Mechanical device for inserting or driving a pile into the soil.

- from

Hydraulic hammer
from

: A modern, state-of-the-art piling hammer for inserting/pulling piles and pipes into the ground.

There are many different piling contractors and companies that offer piling technology on a global scale.
