Waterproof basic steps

The structure and foundation of the home is the most important aspect of the building. Without proper stability and climate tolerable factors, the well-being of buildings can be threatened. This is why it is necessary to comply with appropriate building codes and regulations. In addition, tests must be performed to ensure that the foundation can withstand the most aggressive conditions.

One of the biggest problems in homes is usually floods, leaks and foundations. To ensure that the foundation of the building does not leak in the future, individuals should follow the following waterproof steps:

1-Base mining:

The best way to start this process is to combine the machine and hand digging to access the foundation of the building. In order to preserve the foundation, the excavation must reach the foot to check the drain and to assess the condition of the wall/foundation. The foundation should be powered clean so that any loose substitutes can be removed before further work.

2. Repair and modification:

This step will vary depending on the damage left on the basis. Any existing damage must be repaired. After repair, two coats should be applied on the foundation as it helps to prevent moisture and further enhance the effect of the subsequent waterproof layer.

3. Implement the basic slope to increase water resistance:

After compaction, the contractor shall apply a layer of bevel between the foundation and the foundation. This will achieve the best leakage protection. In addition, it helps to seal the most intolerable parts of the foundation.

4-Set the Blueskin waterproof membrane:

Blueskin membranes ensure a safe and durable water safety block to prevent future leaks. Blueskin is a rubber asphalt film laminated to a polyethylene film. First, once they are dry, the primer is applied to the coating. Next, apply Blueksin, a waterproof component and a moisture-proof component.

5. Set Plato protective film:

According to Blueskin, Platon Membrane is the next layer of packaging. This not only protects Blueskin but also helps defend the foundation. This film is a pitted polyethylene casing that provides air bubbles between Platon and Blueskin. Plato will prevent any potential water from being trapped between the two layers.

6. Set up inverted tiles to optimize drainage:

The contractor must then install a wiping brick and connect it to the drain. Typically, this tile will have a "sock" that helps filter the material to prevent any blockage or blockage. Next, the tiles are covered with clear gravel for easy drainage.

7. Appropriate rating:

Once all the above steps have been fully considered, the foundation will gradually add a slope to ensure that the water is removed from the building. This is the most important line of defense throughout the process because it prevents any further leaks from occurring.
