Sales Training - Determination is the power to keep sales dreams

If you have ten years, what can you achieve in your sales career? How about twenty years? Thirty years? The truth is, if we continue to relentlessly advance our sales goals, then we will have a more successful career and lead a more successful life.

Colonel Remy tells the story of the old fables that spread during the Second World War after the fall of France. In July 1940, England fought alone against the enemy. As the story suggests, Hitler invited Churchill to attend a secret meeting in Paris. When Churchill arrived, he was escorted to Fontainebleau Castle, where he found the table sitting next to the famous trout pool, not Hitler and Mussolini.

Hitler did not lose the opportunity and was in place. "Well, Churchill! This is the situation. England has passed. If you sign this document acknowledging that England has lost the war, then all peace in Europe can begin tomorrow."

Churchill replied: "I can't sign your documents. I don't agree with your assessment of the situation. The England team has not lost the war."

Hitler began to lose his temper. "Too bad! Are you jealous? Look at the facts!"

Churchill quietly drank tea and said, "In England, we often resolve differences through competition. Will you consider competing with me? The loser will agree that he has lost the war."

"What is the game?" Hitler asked.

Churchill walked towards the trout pond. Then he said, "The first person who can catch squid without using traditional fishing equipment is the winner."

Hitler accepted these terms, immediately pulled out the gun and began shooting at the squid. The water deflected the bullets and Hitler returned empty-handed. Hitler then looked at Mussolini. "I heard that you are a great swimmer. Go into the pool and give me a squid!" Mussolini tried desperately to catch the squid, but their slimy skin slipped between his fingers. Finally, a tired, wet, depressed Mussolini climbed out of the pool.

Hitler glared at Churchill. "If you think you can do better, go ahead." Churchill calmly dipped his teaspoon into the pool and threw water on his shoulders. Then he repeats the process again and again.

A frustrated Hitler screamed at Churchill. "What do you think you are doing?"

Churchill didn't even look at Hitler and said that he continued to drown from the pool. "It may take a while, but we will win this war."

As in this fable, you may need some time to achieve your sales goals, but you will never give up. Stick to it step by step, before you know it, you will reach the top of the sale.
