Why does a good bartender have the skills to be a good real estate agent?

Some people did start their real estate career after graduating from high school or college, but most people came to the real estate industry after doing something else. Some people are retiring, others are just looking for a change.

When writing an agent, I always look at those past careers and see how they can relate to real estate sales. Past experiences can often reinforce the skills that agents want to emphasize.

Some past caregivers have made more difficult transitions than others. For example, school teachers must learn their own listening skills after years of conversation. On the other hand, a good school teacher has the skills to educate buyers and sellers about the realities of today's market.

This is a skill that a bartender may not have, but I think a good bartender has the main skills needed for a successful real estate career.

My definition of a good bartender is to have a follower - a person "painting" for the institution they work for. They can mix a good wine, but their interpersonal skills can turn occasional customers into "frequent customers".

So what do bartenders have to make them good real estate agents?

A good bartender knows how to listen. from

Think about the time they spend listening to customers. Although they may not have to listen to everyone's opinions wholeheartedly, they need to pay close attention to their regular customers. Just as good real estate agents need to pay close attention to their buyers and sellers.

Then they will be better from

Good memories
from

. Not only is he [or she, of course!] need to remember what everyone in the bar wants when they raise another drink, and he needs to remember what to put in front of the routine when they walk in. Then he needs to remember the life of that person, the name of the child, and so on. Agents need to remember personal information as well as their customers' needs and needs.

A good bartender respects the needs of customers from

 - He does not try to imply that other things may happen. As an agent, if they have specified that they want to live on a quiet road, he may not show someone a home on a busy street.

A good bartender can talk to people from all walks of life from

And treat them equally. In the most extreme circumstances, he must be non-judicial and friendly. In the face of extreme situations, he must think and act quickly without panic. Good practices for dealing with surprises Buyers and sellers sometimes encounter agents.

A good bartender knows how to keep confidential information from

. A good bartender cannot be a gossip. If they start to say that Mr. Smith and Miss Jones are drinking, or if they mention that the sales staff of Company X are involved in a long conversation with the boss, can you imagine that they will lose the speed of followers? Z company? In real estate, keeping the confidentiality of customer information is a must.

A good bartender must have staff management skills from

. He needs to be able to say "you are enough" and not let the customer become an enemy. This requires a little skill! This skill translates well into the required skills when the client asks the agent to do something that violates the rules.

So - if you are a bartender and consider changing, please consider real estate. You have skills!
