Lahore is the second largest city in Pakistan and the first city to accept Indian monsoon rains. Rainfall fell in the first week of July and continued into mid-September. Below is a brief sketch of the Lahore weather forecast during the monsoon.
Temperature
When the cool and fresh monsoon arrives from India, the first significant impact is a significant drop in temperature. So far the maximum temperature of about 100 °F has dropped to 90 °F or lower. A similar decline was recorded at night, with nighttime lows dropping from approximately 80F to 70F.

Sometimes the western disturbances in northern Pakistan interact with the strong monsoon that already exists in Lahore and lead to torrential rains. That occurred between August 22 and 24, 1996, when there was 17 inches of rain in 72 hours. In order to fully understand how big this amount is, we will consult Lahore's total annual rainy season. The annual rainfall in Lahore is 23 inches. Therefore, within that 72 hours, three quarters of the total annual rainfall was received.
