Social influence on marriage

Marriage is inseparable from society. Society will always affect the marriage system. When Greece became a global empire, the family was affected. Whenever an empire rises, the ideology, culture, and practice of the ruling empire often affect the lifestyle of its empire. For example, when the British Empire came to some parts of Africa, the lives and ideals of the British people would permeate African society. Therefore, Greek thought and marriage also affect the family as an institution. In addition to Greek culture, Roman culture also affects a small number of families in society.

We need to understand all of this because sometimes the culture around us also affects us. Many times, what we do as believers is determined by society. The culture and ideals of the Greeks, mainly philosophers, influenced the marriage of their time. Culture and Roman culture and thought influenced all those who lived in the territory of the then Roman Empire.

We are also affected today. We have observed and we have grown up in the marriage system that prevails in our community. Many of us have never sat down to think about the impact of social ideals and culture on our perception of the family. In some way we have accepted the practices and opinions of the people around us as ideals. Therefore, under the command of society, we try to shape our family and marriage. Those of us who go to school are influenced by the philosophy of writers. For example, when you study literature, you are studying the culture of a particular society at a specific time. For example, Shakespeare reflects social philosophy in his writings. The philosophy of being a way of life can be passed on to you skillfully. When you read Shakespeare's plays and other literature books, you are not only entertained, you are also affected.

Many marriages have also collapsed because we worship the media. It goes without saying that the media has little influence on the family. Many people stupidly swallowed the hooks, lines and sinkers planned by the media. Unfortunately, media practitioners know they are just actors and performers. They never intended to let us do everything they tried to project our way of life. Print and electronic media have increased at the expense of the family. A large percentage of what happens on TV is just entertainment.
