Datatag and iTrack
Data tags and data tools have been in the motorcycle industry for many years and have achieved great success, bringing 100 machines back to their legitimate owners. But just because advertising in the motorcycle field does not mean that the system is not suitable for quad bikes or ATV problems. Any valuable item can be digitized, which means that even Buggies and Minimotos can be tagged.
Datatag began in the 1990s with the goal of reducing theft and putting the bias back into the hands of the owners. The system is designed with a small transmitter that can be buried on the machine and then picked up if a person with a receiver scans. These receivers are for police use only. Therefore, if the police have reason to scan a vehicle such as a motorcycle or agricultural machinery, the transmitter/transponder will send the correct signal back to the receiver to confirm the identity of the item even if the identification on the machine has been removed.
Only recently, a factory and machinery factory was rented from the A-Plant Hire Center in the UK. The sled was stolen from the central region and quickly transported from the United Kingdom to Gibraltar, then through the Mediterranean Sea, through the Suez Canal to Oman, where it was unloaded and trucked to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.
The British police worked tirelessly with international authorities to ensure that vehicles were constantly monitored before they arrived. The arrested person was quickly arrested and charged with handling stolen goods. The data tagging system was used to clarify to the police that the item was actually stolen from the UK.
The data labeling system can be placed on any expensive item and is recommended by most of the UK's leading insurance companies for factories and machinery as well as motorcycles and quad bikes. For those who install Datatag on their machines, a large number of discount packages are available, and if the vehicle has already been sold, it is transferred to the new owner.
Unfortunately, unlike some conventional tracking devices, these systems can be moved from one vehicle to another and have a complete permanent fixture once installed.
i-Track is a PGS-based system that was once again installed by Datatool UK. If your machine is stolen, if you need to find your machine, the system will display a screen like any other type of system. In addition, it uses the mobile GSM global network through the mast system. This allows iTrack to consistently confirm the whereabouts of the machine as a secondary confirmation.
Below you will find that some of the key areas that Datatag adheres to are the big selling points of their systems, and understanding the GPS market I will agree that everything seems to be covered.
- Probably the smallest and most compact commercial tracking system available to add options for concealed accessories.
- If the main power is disconnected, ie the vehicle battery, the internal battery can be recharged.
- iTrack will tell the vehicle whether the battery or internal battery is low and always keep the vehicle covered.
- The state-of-the-art motion detection system alerts the Datatag immediately when an unauthorized move occurs.
- A "geo-fence" or "invisible safety fence" is automatically set around the vehicle and an alert is issued if the vehicle or property leaves the area without consent or permission.
- Lower battery consumption than any other system on the market today.
- Mud and Waterproof - Being able to work in the toughest conditions means it is ideal for 4WD, agricultural, MX, ATV and 4WD.
- iTrack is future-oriented - it can be upgraded to the latest UK Thatcham Category 5 status using the Key "Smartcard" operating system.
Look at all these unique selling points. I believe that if your quad bike or ATV is missing, you will be very confident and you will be paired again soon.
