Kindle Publishing - Getting Started

A book can be many different things. It can be based on real life or more fictional teaching, inspiring. Many people have a lot to share. They also have the skills to express their ideas eloquently through writing, but not everyone has the opportunity to publish books.

It is not surprising that the publication of written works has become easier for many people as the Internet continues to change the way we receive and disclose information. Take the Kindle Publishing platform as an example. All you have to do is write your masterpiece and post it through Amazon. It's that simple!

But simplicity doesn't always mean it's easy to get started. To this end, we have prepared some tips. These are basic guidelines that should help you lay the groundwork for a new book.

I. Pen

Of course, the first step is writing. Give yourself three drafts - enough to make it right.

· Take a blank page - Now, write down every thought of you. Write it down. From the basic outline to your catalog. Don't mind it messy and seemingly untargeted. You can sort it later. The important thing is that you start using it and try to save every good idea you get in the process. This is your draft of "vomiting."

The next step is that you actually spent some time organizing the first draft. Take some time to develop ideas that you can use and discard things that don't fit [or save them to another book]. Think about what you really want to say and write it down - this time make it more organized. This is the "review" draft.

· For the third, ask a friend or professional to read your work and give advice. They can see what you might have missed and check if you made any mistakes, not just grammatical errors, but also the structure of your book. This is the draft of the "editorial".

II. Design and format

Now, the interesting part. Make your books look very attractive to match content.

· Format for Kindle. There is a program called "Calibre" available for you to use, but it is recommended that you choose a professional. This is especially true if you don't have much experience with the program or if you are uncomfortable with the program.

· Organize the cover. Think of this as the surface of your book, so take some time and a little budget. If you don't have the skills to do this job yourself, there are many options for working online.

III. publishing

the most important thing. This is easy, just follow the instructions below.

1. Go to kdp.amazon.com and log in to get an account.

2. Enter your tax information to get a royalty.

3. Click on Bookshelf and then click Add New Title.

4. Fill out the form correctly.

5. Upload your book cover.

6. Upload the book itself.

7. See how your books look in Amazon's online viewer.

8. Click Save and Continue before going to the Rights and Pricing page.

9. Click on "Global Rights".

10. Now, choose a 70% royalty rate and choose your price so you can adjust the international price based on US prices.

11. Click Save and Publish.

12. When the book is ready, Amazon will email you.

Easy, isn't it? However, there is a professional tip here: Don't rush to create your ebook - it doesn't matter if it's a fictional work or something designed to provide information. In this case, the quality outweighs the quantity. You won't make more money by publishing a large number of books in a short period of time.

What you want is to get people to notice your content and continue to return more. So focus on writing something very good, and money will follow suit.

good luck!
